The Gestalt principles in typography are a set of concepts that describe how people tend to organize visual elements into groups or unified wholes when certain principles are applied. These principles are derived from Gestalt psychology, which suggests that humans naturally perceive patterns and structures rather than just the sum of parts.

Legibility vs Readability
Legibility is an informal measure of how easy it is to distinguish one letter from another in a particular typeface. Readability is about the reader – the ease with which a reader can successfully decipher, process, and make meaning of the text read.
